How to import NiceLabel files and read the report.
Upload .misx or .nlbl files through the Center UI or API. The import produces a per-object report.
Reading the report
Every object in your source file appears in exactly one of three categories:
- Carried over — mapped cleanly to OpenLabelEngine equivalents.
- Annotated — partially mapped; annotations explain what differs and why.
- Not mapped — could not be translated; listed with the reason.
No object is silently altered. If a property value changed during import, it appears as an annotation.
Legal note: Import runs on your own licensed installation. This documentation does not instruct you to decrypt proprietary formats on third-party infrastructure.
